The next SNATF event offers a special skin down load. This Lockheed
P-38J "Lightning" skin is by ATS42. It is a depiction
of the Lightning flown by Lt. Robert L. Faurot of the 39th Pursuit
Squadron / 35th FG who bravely fought and died in the skies over
that same Huon Gulf, that same day, and with the same objective
as this SNATF mission.
He is seen posing before his aircraft in late 1942, below left.
The ATS42 skin is below right. Honor his sacrifice by flying his
skin proudly! |
